Hey folks- Hunter here. I won’t bore you with a drawn out bio, I’ll just hit you with the highlights. Who? Hunter Leath. Raised outside of Memphis, TN in a little town called Rossville. I’ve played music as long as I can remember… and probably drove my parents crazy with my first bright red drum set. What? Songwriter, Musician, Producer. The dream was to produce songs for artists. Along that journey, I fell in love with the process of writing. Growing up on James Taylor, Don Henley, Billy Joel, Steven Curtis Chapman, Mac McAnally and many others, writing quickly became much more than a hobby, but a passion. When? What does that even mean? I guess around 5? That’s when I penned my first hit song… can’t name it on here though because the title is extremely embarrassing and made my 102 year old grandmother blush. But I really started to focus in on songwriting as a teenager, around 15 or so. Became a published songwriter in 2016. Where? Between Memphis and Nashville. I split my time between two towns that I love, working comfortably from both (thank you Zoom!). How? I guess like any other musician? As Charlie Worsham says,

Steel and wood / put ‘em in my hands

Give me four on the floor and a five piece band

Pouring out my soul / driving down the same roads

My heroes paved / tools of the trade

I’ve written and produced hundreds (maybe over a thousand at this point) of songs and demos/masters for myself and other writers / artists. I’d love to work with you if you need some songs arranged or produced! Check out those other tabs for Demos and Custom Songs. Thanks for dropping by!
